Luke 6:17-26

In Luke Chapter 6 we find the account of the beginnings of Jesus' public ministry. After selecting 12 of His disciples to be Apostles, Jesus comes to a large crowd on a plain. He begins to teach the people the values of the Kingdom of God. In these Beatitudes, Jesus reveals a set of values that turns the values of this world upside down.
