The teen years are a crucial time for all young people as they are preparing for becoming adults. At West Side, we understand how important it is to meet teenagers where they are at while helping them to cultivate a lasting relationship with Jesus. Our youth ministry is a safe place for your teenager. We will teach them practical biblical lessons to help them navigate their way through this critical period of their life and prepare them for their future independence. An emphasis will be placed on serving others in the church and in the community.
Our youth ministry is also a great place to make good friends and to find godly mentors. We believe that the relationships your teen will build with others are extremely important and the cultivation of those relationships is second only to the cultivation of their relationship with Jesus. Now, of course, no youth ministry would be complete without junk food and lots of fun--perhaps even slightly crazy--activities. In other words, we intend to make learning about Jesus and building those important relationships enjoyable!
- On Wednesday nights our youth group meets at 6:30 PM.
- On Sunday mornings, there is a Sunday School class for youth at 9:30 AM.
- Teenagers get to join the adults for Sunday morning service at 10:30 AM.
