Luke 1:5-25

The story of Zechariah and Elizabeth teaches us many important lessons about prayer and faithfulness to God. The Lord miraculously answered their prayer for a child and Elizabeth bore a son in her old age. That child, John the Baptist, was the final and greatest of the Old Testament prophets, and the forerunner of the Messiah.
