In the story of Isaiah's vision of God in Chapter 6, we see a pattern established for all believers. The revelation of the holiness of God led Isaiah to be convicted of his sin, which led him to confess his sin. Isaiah was then touched by the fire of God which took away his sin. Isaiah, then, was enabled to hear the voice of God and motivated to do God's will. This pattern of revelation, conviction, confession, cleansing and effective service to God applies to every believer in Christ.
