Acts 8:26-40

The story of Philip and the Ethiopian is powerful. We discover that Philip, a lay person, became an able evangelist by learning the Scriptures and obeying the leading of the Holy Spirit. We see in the Ethiopian a God-fearing person who wanted to know the Lord. We also see the amazing love of God at work in the engineering of both men's circumstances so that the Ethiopian could be saved.
