Genesis 32:22-32

Jacob had an all-night wrestling match with God. The Lord touched Jacob and broke the power of his sinful nature. He changed Jacob forever and renamed his Israel. In the same way, each of us must wrestle with the Lord. We need His transforming touch in our lives to deliver us from our sinful selves. For if we are to realize our God-called destiny, the Lord must break our old nature.
