Rev. Brian Hay became the Lead Pastor at West Side in October 2021. Rev. Hay graduated in 1997 from Nazarene Bible College with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. He was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2000. He has served in pastoral ministry in Nazarene churches in Decatur and Auburn, IL.
Rev. Hay is a Decatur native, graduating from Stephen Decatur High School in 1982. He is active in the community serving as the Chairman of the Board of Robertson Charter School since its founding in 2001. Rev. Hay and his wife, Tracy, have four adult children and five grandchildren. He is an avid sports fan. His favorite teams are the Cardinals, Bears, Bulls, and the Illinois Fighting Illini.
